Description: Thallus to 15 cm, slightly flattened, distichously branched, enclosed in dense cellular cortex arising from decussate branchlets developed on each axial cell. Procarp and carposporophyte unknown. Tetraspores in rounded swelling at branch tips, tetrahedrally-divided.

Comments: Poorly known genus from Western Australia. Requires reinvestigation.
