Type locality: Moreno Gulch, Moreno Shale, California. Late Cretaceous, Maastrichtian (Sims 2008: 440). Holotype: CAS 3385 (slide no. CAS 204093) (Sims 2008: 440). Notes: U.S.A: California: Moreno Gulch, Panoche Hills, Fresno County (Late Cretaceous) (INA).
Described as a fossil.
