This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Crenotia hedinii (Hustedt) Rioual, Ector & Wetzel.
Type Information
Type locality: "Hab. Tibet, inter castra XXVII et XXVIII (1900)" ; (Hustedt 1922: 122) Holotype: BRM; AS1395 and slide Ka/61 (Rioual, Ector & Wetzel 2019: 1) Notes: Type was "...collected from a pond by the Swedish explorer Sven Hedin during his 2nd expedition in Tibet (1899–1902) when crossing the Kekexili Basin, in the eastern part of the Kunlun Mountains (Hedin 1903) of Tibet." Rioual, Ector & Wetzel (2019: 1). Type material is illustrated as figs 2-42 in Rioual, Ector & Wetzel (2019).
