Published in: Roth, A.G. [=A.W.] (1806). Catalecta botanica quibus plantae novae et minus cognitae describuntur atque illustrantur. Fasciculus tertius cum tabulis aenaeis XII. pp. [i-viii], -350, [1-2, index pi.], [1-6, index] [1, err.], pls I-XII. Lipsiae [Leipzig]: in Bibliopolio Io. Fr. Gleditschiano.

Type locality: Fehmarn, SW Baltic (Berger et al. 2003: 288). Neotype: LD 137737 (Berger et al. 2003: 288). Notes: Original material missing (Blomster et al., 1999; Hayden et al., 2003). Heyden et al. (2003: 288, table 4) select a neotype illustrated in Bliding (1963: figs 69a, b) from Landskoma, Baltic Oresund.
