This is a marine species.
Holotype locality: Point Lonsdale, Victoria (Kraft, Kraft & Waller: 1273). Holotype (fig. 5A): S. Gould, C. Jackson, J. Ackland & L. Kraft; 20 September 2007; Attached to rocks on inner-reef flat submerged 20-30 cm at low tide. MELU LK-027 (Kraft, Kraft & Waller: 1273).
