Nomenclatural note
C. arnotti ( as ‘C. Arnotti’) was proposed by Trevisan (1845:77) as a substitute name for C. byssoides. It is, therefore, a superfluous and illegitimate name which must be typified by the type of C. byssoides (q.v) - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
