Lectotype locality: Tirana, Albania (Helvetian, mid-late Miocene); (Aguirre & al. 2012: 296) Lectotype: Bourcart; PC; two thin sections and two [rock] fragments included in box 48-1/99 (Aguirre & al. 2012: 296, 293, fig. 1, 3-9) Notes: Lemoine (1924) based L. bourcartii on material from two Albanian localities, Koritza and Tirana but did not designate a type.
