Type information
Holotype locality: "Inter rejectamenta maris apud Yarmouth in Norfolcia. Perennis: Floret Januarlo Februario." [Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, amongst the rejectamenta of the sea. Perennial, flowering in January and February] (Turner 1802: 127). Lectotype: BM-K (Maggs & Hommersand 1993: 203).
