Type locality: Cape Liptrap, Victoria, Australia; (Silva & al. 1996: 425) Holotype: Mueller; 1853; (Womersley 1998: 289) Notes: Womersley (1998: 289) notes that the holotype is missing from MEL, 1007336 (see Wollaston (1990: 21).
