Holotype locality: Dalmazia [Dalmatia, Croatia] (Zanardini 1868: 209 [128]). Holotype: Zanardini; No date indicated; no habitat data on type but Gargiulo et al. (1992:61) indicate that plants were dredged.. MCVE Zanardini No. 514 (Gargiulo, De Masi & Tripodi 1992: 61).
