Type locality: Saphan Hin Park, Phuket Province, Thailand (7°51'57.35"N, 98°24'0.25"E); (Muangmai et al. 2017: 535) Holotype: KUMF05038 (female gametophyte): K. Lewmanomont; 24 December 2006; (Muangmai et al. 2017: 535, fig. 1) Notes: Genbank sequence of holotype: KY952905 (rbcL). Isotype: KUMF05039 (fig. 2), tetrasporophyte.
