Type locality: dwarf mangrove forest located between Mowry and Military canals east from L31E levee near Biscayne Bay, Florida, U.S.A. (25°28'24.3"N, 80°20'45.8"W); (Wachnicka & Gaiser 2007: 403) Holotype: on artificial substrat (glass slides) in dwarf mangrove forest; ANSP; slide ANSP G.C 5796 (Wachnicka & Gaiser 2007: 403, fig. 47) Notes: Isotype: Slide CAS222007.
