Type locality: San José del Cabo, Baja California, Mexico (Dawson 1963: 455). Not specified: H. 727 & 598; 4 August 1932; Calif. Acad. of Sciences (Dawson 1944: 306). Notes: Dawson (1944: 306) notes that the type material was dredged from 40 meters off San Jose del Cabo and that there is an isotype located in AHF (no. 49).
