This is a marine species.

Habitat
Found in intertidal rocky pools and at depth of up to 2.5 m on rock or on the holdfast of the brown alga Ecklonia (Woelkerling & Campbell 1992: 61). On Ecklonia radiata (Womersley 1996: 219).
