This is a marine species.
Type locality: La Paz, Baja California, Mexico. (Dawson 1960: 11). Type: [Leon Diguet (Dawson 1960: 11)]; no date; probably on sublittoral banks. TRH C17-3298, Hariot no. 1, includes slides 86 and 87; designated by Adey et al. 1982: 57 (Woelkerling & al. 2005: 462). Notes: Isolectotype: PC (missing).
Central America: Panama (Fernández-García & al. 2011).
South-east Asia: Indonesia (Atmadja & Prud'homme van Reine 2012).
Pacific Islands: Fiji (N'Yeurt, South & Keats 1996).
