Type locality: Tromsø, Lyngøya, Norway (Jeong et al. 2019: 328). Holotype: tetrasporophyte: Foslie; 12 June 1892; epilithic on rocks. TRH C23-3648 (Jeong et al. 2019: 328). Notes: Norwegian coast (INA).
