Syntype localities: Tristan da Cunha, Nightingale, Middle and Stoltenhoff Islands, Tristan da Cunha (Baardseth 1941: 101). Notes: Holotype: Baardseth (1941, fig 52B), Herbarium at O. Tristan da Cunha, Sta. 28, Guest Bay, 25-30 m, December 27, 1937, leg. Baardseth (Lin & Hommersand, 2016: 31).
