This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Audouinella chalybea (Roth) Bory
Type locality: "In aquaeductu Molae inferioris prope Leesum Ducatus Bremensis invenit Novembri mense amicus, suavissimus Mertens." (Roth 1806: 286).
