Type locality: the north beach of the Dune (54°10.36'N, 07°54.72'E, on the North Sea island Helgoland, Germay (Hoppenrath 2001: 487). Holotype: fig. 21a-f: eulittoral sand. (Hoppenrath 2001: 487).
Origin of species name
Adjective (Latin), toothed, usually with sharp teeth pointing outwards (Stearn 1985).
