This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Laurencia okamurae Yamada
Kamishma, Toba, Mile Prefecture, Pacific coast of Central Japan (Abe & Masuda 1998: 18). Holotype: Y. Nabeshima; 15 June 1991; SAP 062619 (Abe & Masuda 1998: 18).
