Holotype locality: Sungei Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia (Kumano 1978: 98). Holotype: S. Kumano; 30 May 1971; On submerged roots of Saraca thaipingensis . Herbarium of Faculty of Science, Kobe University (Kumano 1978: 98).
