Type locality: Nieuport, Belgium; (Conrad, 1926: 82) Notes: According to Thessen, Patterson & Murray (2012: 16), "This species was described by Conrad from brackish water in ruins near Newport, UK.". In fact, the species was described from brackish water near Nieuport, Belgium (Conrad 1926: 82).
