Type locality: Near Manhao, Yuennan, China (Hoek 1963: 52). Type: Growing attached to stones in a warm spring. Drouet (Philadelphia) Handel-Mazzetti, Iter sinense 1914-1918, n. 5813 (Hoek 1963: 52).
