Adjective (Latin), growing on the genus Dasya.

Taxonomic notes
Thought to be the gametophyte of Audouinella savina (Stegenga & Borsje 1976; Stegenga & Erp 1979; Schneider 1983), A. hypneae (Børgesen) Lawson & John or A. bispora Schneider. Garbary (1987: 53) records this species as being a currently accepted name.
