General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
Collected from rock, jetty pilings, tunicates, and as as epiphyte on the seagrass Amphibolis and various algae, including Cystophora, Cladostephus spongiosus and Botryocladia obovata; from just below the lowest water levels in permanent tide pools down to at least 12 m in relatively sheltered localities (Kraft 1978: 539).
