Isotype locality: near Trieste (Italy) (Hoek 1963: 163). Isotype: rivulet. L, 937/264/289 (Hoek 1963: 163). Notes: Type specimens in Agardh’s herbariun (LD), n. 9105-9108 and 9155-9172. N. 9106 has been designated as the lectotype.
