General Environment
This is a freshwater species.
Description
Valves linear-clavate with poles narrowly rounded. Length 30-54 µm. Breadth 3-6 µm. Raphe delicately undulate, lateral. Axial area narrow; central area with single stigma at the end of an elongated stria. Striae radiate, strongly so at footpole, 10-12 in 10 µm.
