Dichophyllium vulgare Kützing
type locality: Trieste, Italy (De Clerck 2003: 160). Lectotype: L 936.262-239 (De Clerck 2003: 160). Notes: According to De Clerck (2003), the lectotype of D. vulgare is extremely slender and spirally twisted, unlike the specimen illustrated by Kützing in his later work (1859: 6, pl. 10, fig. 2). Lectotypification is established by De Clerck (2003).
