[central part of Chile (Bay of Concepción, Bay of Valparaíso).]; (Postels & Ruprecht 1840: 2) Lectotype: LE; A0000301 (Klimova & al. 2019) Notes: Type is illustrated in Klimova, Klochkova & Klochkova (2019: figs 1-3). The collection of the material is described by the authors.
