The type species (lectotype) of the genus Actinoptychus is Actinoptychus senarius (Ehrenberg) Ehrenberg.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Trossulus elegantulus (E.Grove & G.Sturt) R.Ross & P.A.Sims.
