Type locality: Martinique [West Indies] (Delnatte & Wynne 2016: 434). Type: Duperrey; PC? Herb. Montagne? (Womersley 1998: 283). Notes: Womersley (1998: 283) notes that the type specimen was not located in PC in 1952.
