According to Babbini & Bressan (1997) Lithophyllum cystoseirae Hauck is a synonym of Titanoderma cystoseirae (Hauck) Woelkerling, Chamberlain & Silva.Woelkerling & Campbell (1992) include Titanoderma in Lithophyllum but the genus is mantained by Irvine & Chamberlain (1994, p. 89). - (11 May 2006) - G.M.
