Harvey, TCD; (Womersley 1998: 334) Notes: Womersley (1998: 334) notes that there is also an isotype located in MEL, 684, epiphytic on “Zostera “ (Posidonia) and he refers to Baldock (1976: 517) for data on the lectotype: from "Swan River" (Harvey Aust. Exsicc. 495A).

"Harvey gave no derivation for the epithet, which may be treated as the genitive singular of the neuter noun "monile"; it will remain monilis irrespective of the gender of any genus into which it is transferred" [INA]. - (30 September 2022) - M.D. Guiry
