Syntype localities: Garden and Rottnest Islands, Western Australia; (Silva & al. 1996: 412) Lectotype: Harvey; Herb. Harvey, TCD; (Womersley 1998: 334) Notes: Womersley (1998: 334) notes that there is also an isotype located in MEL, 684, epiphytic on “Zostera “ (Posidonia) and he refers to Baldock (1976: 517) for data on the lectotype: from "Swan River" (Harvey Aust. Exsicc. 495A).
