Type locality: Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia; (De Clerck 2003: 180) Lectotype: LD; 49606 (De Clerck 2003: 180) Notes: De Clerck (2003) notes that lectotypification was established by Womersley (1967: 212). According to Womersley (1987), the type was collected by F. von Mueller.
