Type Information
Type locality: "Siberia transbaicalensis" (possibly Sea of Ochotsk); (Silva & al. 1996: 232) Holotype: I. Redowsky; LE; (Wade & al. 2023: [4]) Notes: This type locality was first recorded by Postels & Reprecht (1840: 20). Lectotype: S A2604, Unalaska Island (as Unalaschka) leg. Dr. Mertens (Wade et al., 2022: [5].

Adjective (Latin), used in medicine [in the past] (Stearn 1973).
