Type locality: On a block of stone near the Clergyman's house on the Island of Lismore. October; (Greville 1826: pl. 220) Type: E; Notes: The island of Lismore lies in Lough Linnhe east of Mull in Argyll & Bute, Scotland.

Adjective (Latin), With beautiful leaves (Stearn 1973).
