Description
Small marine red alga epiphytic on the seagrass Posidonia, spreading, loosely adherent, branched, filamentous basal system with branched erect filaments. Intercalary vegetative cells 24-29 µm long and 7-9 µm in diameter. Spherical monospores 9-11 µm in diameter move by gliding.
