Pobablement une espèce cosmopolite qui peut se trouver dans des milieux qui vont de l'oligotrophie a l'eutrophie (Le Cohu & Azémar, 2011 citing Krammer, 2002); in the Pyrenees most often associated with C. subhelvetica; lake bottom but also on wet rocks (Le Cohu & Azémar). - (14 September 2012) - G.M.
