Location:
Tokyo

Notes:
According to Professor Hiroshi Kawai, " 'Meii' means a book collecting (carrying?) names of various items. 'mei' means 'name' and 'i' means 'similar things' or 'collection of similar things'. 'sou' (we pronounce 'mo' by itself) is algae, and 'rui' is 'kind of' or 'similar things or group of similar things'. Therefore, 'sorui' is a general word for 'mo' (algae)."
