Theis name, contrary to many publications, was introduced on p. 46 in an 1840 preprint of Ehrenberg's Über noch zahlreich jetzt lebende Thierarten der Kreidebildung und den Organismus der Polythalamien which was distibuted effectively in 1840. The genus name appeared on p. 126 in the journal version. ING has the correct entry. - (27 January 2017) - M.D. Guiry
