Comments: According to the Index Nominum Genericorum this is a "substitute name for Euglenopsis B. Davis 1894, non Klebs 1892. The type has been referred to Prasinocladus Kuckuck 1894 by Collins, Tufts College Stud. Sci. Ser. 2: 141. 1909."
