Holotype locality: Puerto López (Alta Guajira), Departamento de la Guajira, Colombia; (Schnetter 1976: 57) Holotype: 0.5 m deep on the leaves of Thalassia testudinum; COL; (Schnetter 1976: 57) Notes: Isotypes: L, Herb. M.L. & R. Schnetter. Holotype: COL126175 (Senties et al. 2010).
