General Environment
This is a freshwater species.

Thallus magnus, prasinus, stipite brevissimo et minimo, a haptero clisciformi affixus. forma varius: lanceolatus, anguste vel late ellipticus, obovatus, aliquot partitus. 3 ~ 14 cm longus, 0.7 - 8.1 cm latus, margine repandus et crispato-plicatus, apìce obtusus vel rotundatus, aliquando mucronatus, basi ab initio obtuso-rotundatus, deinde expansus et cordatus; cellulis subglobosis vel oblongis, 6.5 - 11 (- 13) µm longis, 5-9 µm latis, plerumque quaternis in catervam unam aggregatis, interstitiis inter catervas manifestis 1.5 - 2 µm latis, catervis quaternìs in aream unam aggregatis, interstitiis inter area indistinctis; in sectione transversali thallus 50 - 60 µm crassus, cellulis cylindricis, 26-34 µm altis.
