Type locality: Georgetown, Tasmania (Silva & al. 1996: 286). Lectotype: Gunn 1276; BM, Herb. Hooker (Womersley 1994: 415). Notes: Tetrasporangial specimens (Gunn 1276); isolectotype in TCD (Womersley 1994: 416, 415).
