Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Eremosphaera viridis De Bary.

Type locality: "Found in boggy ditches. Prestwick Carr, Northumberland. D. Oliver, jun., March, 1857, and 1858."; (Henfrey 1859: 29) Notes: No type indicated; can probably be typified by pl. III.
