Syntype localities: Burma [Myanmar]: several localities; (Skuja 1949: 94) Type: H. Skuja; on shell of freshwater gastropod (Paludina); (Skuja 1949: 95) Notes: Original material apparently lost (previously in RIG). Boedeker et al. (2012: 822) selected as lectotype ("holotype") the illustrations in pl. XXXVII: figs 1-7 in Skuja (1949) and designated as epitype material from a pond in tropical hothouse, Hortus Botanicus Leiden, The Netherlands, collector: C. Boedeker (sample G91), 26 April 2006, attached on mangrove pneumatophores (submerged), L 079287 (Boedeker et al. 2012: 822).
