This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Hyalogonium fusiforme (Korshikov) H.Ettl.
Origin of Species Name
Adjective B (Latin), fusiform; swollen at the middle and tapering to each end like a spindle; narrowly ellipsoid (Stearn 1973).
