Type locality: "Ad Novam Hollandiam" (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 455). Holotype: Harvey; LD, Herb. Agardh 31740 (Womersley 2003: 77). Notes: According to Womersley (2003: 77) the type is from Georgetown, Tasmania ( Harvey, Alg. Aust. Exsicc. 271 I).
