At first sight this appears to be an illegitimate name as it includes "Sargassum vulgare Ag. Spec. Alg., p. 3", but this is an illelgitimate name. Bory also included "Fucus natans de Turner, pl. 26, mais non le Fucus narans de Linné." - (07 August 2021) - M.D. Guiry
