Holotype locality: Loch Creran, Oban, Scotland. (Melbourne & al. 2017: 172). Holotype: Andrew Mogg; 13/10/2014; 9.6 m deep in sheltered bay. BM 001150576 (Melbourne & al. 2017: 172, fig. 3). Notes: Holotype: OB25. Isotype: OB12, BM001150563.
